Ski racer Linus Straßer fell short of his expectations in the first World Cup slalom of the season.
In the race in Val d'Isere, France, the 30-year-old from Munich was only 14th. Norwegian Lucas Braathen took his third victory, clearly ahead of Manuel Feller from Austria (+0.84 seconds) and Loic Meillard from Switzerland ( +0.98).
In addition to Strasser, Anton Tremmel (21st) and Sebastian Holzmann (25th) also scored their first World Cup points this winter.
